One of my goals is Relentless Boot Camp be the #1 recognized boot camp in the nation. I believe in our program and every benefit we offer to our athletes.

I recently wrote an e-book that is easily downloadable on my blog (see the right side bar). The e-book is titled, Relentless Pursuit. I chose the name because of the pursuit to touch as many lives as possible via Relentless Boot Camp. The goal of the e-book is to inform and educate on nutrition and fitness. Every person who downloads the e-book receives 20 days worth of meal plans and workouts along with a plethora of information.

One of the goals of Relentless Pursuit is to have others experience the possibility of health, wellness, family, education, and improved quality of life through knowledge and participating in our boot camps.

Help me spread the word by downloading the e-book and forwarding this blog post on to others. Together we can make huge changes!

Who are you surrounded by....

Pictured above is my some of my family. Each of these people believe in me, encourage me, hold me accountable, know where I am going, and what I am up to. The passage below is worth the read.

Who are you surrounding yourself with daily? Are they on your team and believe in something bigger than themselves?

In Prosperity Our Friends Know Us. In Adversity We Know Our friends.

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity.
An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.
Consider this:
  • Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
  • Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how.
  • Not everyone has a right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person.

Eat your spinach

I wanted a "pancake" today but also wanted some leafy greens so I whipped up a random concoction. It is a spin-off of the zucchini pancakes from Balanced Bites. All I did was combine about 3/4 a bag of spinach, 1.5TB of coconut flour and 3 eggs, salt and pepper and then poured the batter into a greased skillet with coconut oil and Voila....Spinach Pancakes. I combined my pancakes with Buddy's Chicken Sausage.

Yumo!

I enrolled one of my fabulous clients & friends to bake for me for the Women's Only Paleo Bake Sale today. The pic above is only a glimpse of what she made. No icing or coconut flakes were added quite yet to the big cupcakes.

The baked goods consisted of "Reese's" Chocolate Cupcakes and Vanilla Cupcakes. The "Reese's" Chocolate Cupcakes were her own creation made with almond butter, coconut flour, & almond flour. The frosting for both cupcakes included a mix of almond butter, agave, and cacao bliss. AMAZZZZZZZZZZING!

Like I told one of my athletes today, even though it's a clean dessert, it is still a DESSERT. Consume goodies similar to this sparingly but enjoy every single bite. It's a treat, not a cheat.

All proceeds for the bake sale go to the Habitat for Humanity Fitness Challenge

Support Group

I am the oldest of 4 kids. My 2 sisters are my best friends and my biggest fan. I am blessed to have siblings who support and cheer me on, love me unconditionally, accept me for who I am, never judge, offer words of encouragement. I have sisters that build each other up and not try to compete against each other. We are all so different yet so alike. Our differences are what make our friendship so strong. I am blessed to know that I have amazing sisters!

Goddess

I was perusing around People's Rx yesterday and came across this yummy brand of snacks called, New Earth Super Conscious Living. They are a local company here in Austin. The product pictured above caught my eye because the word, "Goddess," was on the label, and the marketing stated-- Nourish your heart, Sweeten your life, Feed your INNER GODDESS!!!

For those of you who know me, I use the word Goddess quite often so naturally I was intrigued. Moving on....

I am not a huge dessert person; however, the next time I have a sugar craving I am buying Chocolate Goddess Clusters. A dessert made with raw chocolate and coconut chips. New Earth has quite a few other products. Check it out. Looks like they will be getting my business before my trip to LA for the CrossFit Games.

If you've tried the product, let me know. The staff and purpose of this company seem really solid.

Are you magnesium deficient?

The past month I have been restless. Tossing and turning all through the night. Not getting a good night's sleep. Waking up tired and constantly sore from workouts. Getting calf cramps in the middle of the night. Fatigued. ClearLLLLLLLLLLLLy not a good combo for a Relentless Boot Camp coach.

I visited People's Pharmacy a while back and they recommended Magnesium. Needless to say, I remembered that conversation last week and made a quick trip to the pharmacy. Here it is 1 week later and I feel 100% better. If you think you may be magnesium deficient, read this NOW.

The Miracle Product = Premier Magnesium Glycinate

Meg's Dosage: 2 capsules when waking, 2 mid-afternoon, 2 before bed.

Resist...Persist

If you're unhappy, 9 times out of 10 it's because you are clinging onto something. Nine times out of 10, letting go and happiness are synonymous.

Something I have learned this past year is what you resist, PERSISTS.  The cartoon above is the perfect example of the exact statement. My personal life and career are changing daily and for the better. I am more open to change, new ideas, growth, and help than ever before. Working with, believing in, and empowering others makes life simple. Tasks that would take a month to execute now are accomplished in a day. I am fired up with where I am going and the team running with me! Are you ready for the ride of your life?
