We are all well aware of the blistering 100+ temperatures outside, which means each of us should be diligent with our water intake. Hydration is key all day, every day and not right after you finish a workout.

WATER 101--
Water is the basis for all body fluids and is involved in numerous vital metabolic processes. When we lose fluid, we also lose minerals such as calcium, potassium, and sodium, which are electrolytes that help regulate the body's fluid balance and metabolic processes. Prolonged exercise, outdoor activities at elevated temperature or humidity, and occasional gastric imbalances are associated with loss of body fluid and dehydration.
