What Drives Your Life?

I am slowly but surely re-reading "The Purpose Driven Life." Last night I was reading the chapter titled, What Drives Your Life? The author listed quite a few reasons and then began listing the benefits of purpose driven living.

Benefit 1: Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life
Benefit 2: Knowing your purpose simplifies your life
Benefit 3: Knowing your purpose focuses your life
Benefit 4: Knowing your purpose motivates your life

I am learning more and more each day that "without a purpose, life is motion without meaning, activity without direction, and events without reason. Without a purpose, life is trivial, petty, and pointless."

I know I am at CrossFit Central for a reason and feel blessed beyond measure to have the opportunity to work with this community. I finally have the opportunity to pursue my degree in an element that allows me to be me (aka: a showout), as well as truly have an influence. Each day I am encouraged to see the improvements happening in each one of my athlete's lives. I know my purpose is to positively impact, encourage, and challenge individuals each day--whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally, nutritionally, socially. I am here to listen, learn, and teach. It is encouraging to be reminded of what drives my life, and why I am doing what I am doing daily.

What drives your life?
